Photojournalism. Social Documentary. Daily Life. Street Photography. Fashion. Erotic Photography. Portraits. Events. Editorial Photography.
I am not just a photographer. I am also a photo editor and publisher, a writer, a communicator and a photography educator. www.alexcoghe.com |
Peripatetic photographer based in Zakynthos, Greece. Studies in sociology and photography. Photographs published in Greek and foreign magazines, book covers and in various on-line venues. In 2012 I exhibited the series "Off-Season" in Athens Photo Festival.
What I strive to achieve is the making through my photographs of an imaginary world, where even the most prosaic situations can acquire a mysterious nuance and a meaning different from the one that they carry in reality. I work in a quasi-documentary style. My realities are mostly invented. I'm a great believer in spontaneity because with discipline you cannot get caught in the moment and that means missing the magic of life - www.zisiskardianos.com |

MARTIN U WALTZ
|
Photography was Martin’s first love and his second career. After a career in business finance he works now as an art and commercial photographer. Martin is a founding member of the berlin1020 photography collective.
Martin is a keen observer of the fragility and transiency in urban life. In his street photography Martin emphasizes the contrast between the soft fluid human shape and the hard and static fabric of city infrastructure. Martin uses strong geometrical compositions, still he thinks of his photography as associative and poetic. Martin has won numerous international awards, his work is exhibited around the world. - www.streetberlin.net |
I live and work in Athens, Greece. I studied piano and advanced theory of music. I love to take pictures and I find pointless talking about it.
In my perspective, Street photography has no difference from portraiture, or any other kind of photography. I have the same approach and framework, either I am in a room, or taking photos on the streets. I try not to exaggerate. I avoid visual noise, juxtapositions, optical illusions, tricks and everything that is extravagant, or tries to capture the eye on purpose. These elements might easily make an impression, but they wear out quickly. I want the intensity in my photographs to be subtle, discreet and balanced - www.flickr.com/photos/46778781@N06 |

MICHAIL MOSCHOLIOS
|
My father handed me my first camera (a rangefinder) when I was 16 but funnily enough I have never shot street photography with that camera. Today, founder of BULBphotos Collective and of the SCP community, writer and editor of various books, I want to pay back my debt to him and to my good friend Nikos Papadimitriou who was a great fan of Henri Cartier-Bresson and he transmitted me the virus.
Street photography took me hostage because it is the photography of freedom, of emancipation, of synergy among human beings and at the same time the total absence of them. It is an attitude against the ordinary, an instinctive response to the unpredictable, a juxtaposition of the unrelated. |
Digby is the most recent addition to the Streethunters.net writing and editorial team. He feels very strongly that street photography has a powerful role to play in terms of journalistic visual storytelling. Having studied for an International Relations degree, he is fascinated by the potential for street photography to break down borders and showcase fascinating aspects of the human condition across all kinds of cultures and societies.
He is based in the south east of the United Kingdom, and enjoys practicing digital street photography in the UK and further afield abroad (and particularly in Greece) using a semi wide-angle lens and working solely in colour. Digby thoroughly enjoys writing about various aspects of street photography and analysing photos on streethunters.net, and taking part in Street Hunt videos on the Street Hunters YouTube channel. |

In the years and months that followed he pounded the streets of London and Europe shooting what he found. - www.wojtekstreetphotography.com
He has also had a collection of work displayed at Camera Club – one of the most prestigious galleries in London. To share the knowledge, he has gained he run workshops and organised photo walks.
